HANDWRITING AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR-II

HANDWRITING AND HUMAN BEHAVIOUR-II

You would like to know about graphology if you are interested in handwriting. Graphology is the study of handwriting and its connection to human behaviour, and other related things. Some people don't agree with it because of its indirect observation base. They believe it is more hypothetical and based on assumptions. On the other hand, there are people who are in great favour of it for its anecdotal evidence of thousands of positive testimonials.

The central nervous system influences our writing movements which are not always the same. They depend largely on coordination between hand, arm, and shoulder. The way we write brings changes in the central nervous system. Any development could be noticed of that.

When we examine the handwriting and drawing movements, we generally consider them as movements organized by the central nervous system. These are produced under biomechanical and dynamical constraints. Graphologists study these considerations to evaluate the quality, overall size, regularity, and consistency of the graphic stroke in terms of psychological interpretations. We support the basis of graphology through this mechanism.

There are different approaches to graphology. The strokes that you make talk about your personality. Integrative graphology is based on that.

Take an example of the alphabet 't', when you make the stroke above the stem, it signifies daydreaming. Crossing at the line indicates distant goals. This approach is also called 'fixed signs', 'trait stroke', 'French System' etc.

Holistic graphology is based on form, movement and space. Then there is Symbolic Analysis, which primarily covers the appearance of symbols. For example, John Wayne's signature shows a blackened out portion, which represents his lung cancer.

John Wayne's career began in silent movies in the 1920s. He was popularly known as "The Duke". He was an American film actor who signified a certain kind of rugged individualistic masculinity, and has become an enduring icon. He was a famous movie star from the 1940s to the 1970s.

Orientation of lines

We learn to write straight but after practising for many years some of us fail to do so. Actually our personality plays a considerable role in that.

Tiredness could also be the reason of deviation in writing, but that is a different issue and has no relation in anticipating the human personality. The direction of your line interprets your movements in future. It is assumed that our hope and dreams are very much visible in the course of our lines.

After reading this, you can identify the mental state of its writer.

You are optimistic if your line ascends. While moving left to right you go up, understandably it depicts your progress.

If the lines descend, it tells you are depressed and pessimistic. Those who have frequent mood changes may also write in descending lines temporarily.

If you write a straight line, it is assumed that you also move straight for your daily life aims. In case, you exactly make a straight line that depicts you don't give way to pressure or persuasion.

There are some people who make lines which first ascend after that descend. We call them convex lines. The makers of these lines start something with great enthusiasm and aim,

Similarly there are people who make concave lines, those which first descend then ascend. They start something with little interest but as the work comes near to completion they develop their interest and confidence for it. Not many people are there who write in this manner.

Some lines are felt having ascending steps. People who have little endurance make them. On the other hand, descending steps say that you are a fighter and you can easily come out of depression. Aimless and zigzag lines indicate your moods.

Gap between two words

The gap between two words tells a lot about our considerations, thoughts and emotions. If you don't put proper gap between the words, it means that you are action oriented. When you leave wide or narrow gap between the words, you fluctuate with your thoughts and emotions.

Distance between lines

The distance between lines is your choice for writing because it doesn't involve any frequent decision. It is easy to unfold a person's mind through this. If he gives reasonable gap, he is systematic and disciplined. If the gap is too wide, the person prefers to maintain a distance. A person who prefers people around him leaves small gaps.

Those who overlap the lines are emotionally and mentally unsettled. Sometimes you see upper line's lower part merging into lower line's upper part. This is mostly common for people having great physical actuation.

A person who writes in this wqy is emotionallY and mentallY unsettled.

Right and left margin

We are always intentional for margins. Our priority is more for left margin than right margin. Generally margin represents the distance a person wants to maintain to the people around him.

Although our emphasis is completely on left margin, the non-deliberate right margin signifies the distance we really want to keep with the people. Self-concentrated and self-reserved people leave wide left margins whereas self-conscious people pay equal attention to the left and the right margins.

Similarly, there is margin from top which represents freedom from constraint or embarrassment if it is less from top. When the margin is too wide, it indicates discontinuation. Commonly, unresponsive people leave wide margins.

Writing instrument

The writing instrument plays a big role in giving attraction to your handwritten matter. You always try to choose a pen that can make your writing appear attractive. Selection of a writing instrument defines personality of your handwriting which in turn affects your personality.

Hiding strokes

When your strokes are seen, found, observed or discovered affected in the appearance, they tell a lot about you. The covering or hiding strokes generally represent your level of inhibition and insincerity. It also indicates frustrated courses, concealing nature, hesitancy, emotional delusions, and deceitful nature.

Impulsive writing

The speed of your handwriting depends on how immediate and impulsive you are for it. If you are spontaneous, you could be ambitious, full of actions, fast in thinking, felt uneasy, rushing. In case you lack the spontaneity, you are considered rigid, careful, lethargic, contriver.

Gap between letters

Gap between two letters tells about the manner in which a person behaves.

A person is reasonable and systematic when he connects all the letters of a word.

A person is creative and instinctive if he connects some letters.

He is self-concerned if he leaves most of the letters disjoined.

If one doesn't make prominent finishing strokes, one is introvert.

In case a person makes a word which mostly has first letter detached, he is cautious about things around.

Letter appearance

Some people make big letters some compose small. Some like to extend them to right, some prefer to give them left orientation. Whatever the case is, it indicates the important traits of people.

If you make tall capital letters, you want to be ahead of others. You are impressive if your initial letter has greater height than the usual one. Small capital letters depict humbleness of a person. In fact, people who make small letters are more towards reality than imagination. If fine gap is there between the letters, then a person is unreserved, otherwise he is reserved.

Readability

The person's clarity for writing is a parameter to know his intentions. People who have easily readable hand impressions are considered good for teaching and speaking. You can also' expect sincerity and cooperation from them. If the legibility of handwriting is remarkably impressive, a person is one who could hide his real identity.

Its writer has hiding nature

The life of' a working professional is full of' tensions. He shouldn’t t do exercise to get tired and have better sleep. He should do something which doesn't let him frustrate easil~. We get tired more of' frustration than hard work.

Writing slant

Right slant is considered natural, reason is that anyone who writes from left to right unintentionally adopt that to feel comfortable while writing. The slant informs about your family relations. It is said that left slant movement signifies your inclination towards the mother, possibly you are closer to your mother. It also includes person's past.

Women are more common for left slant use than men. People who feel independent and have less inclination towards parents write with almost negligible slant. Writing without any slant is very difficult practice. If a person writes with that, he is very much disciplined. Although right slant is common, a person who leans with it further is not in habit of waiting.

Putting pressure

We don't write without putting pressure. Either we put pressure on paper or on writing instrument. When we put the pressure on paper, our endurance and energy are measured. If the pressure is on the grip of writing instrument, our goals and inner values project out.

The thrust that we put on paper either signifies pressure by will or inhibition that mostly appears in the form of the thinner upper strokes and heavier downward strokes. The more pressure you put, the more forceful you are.

In fact, high pressure is the tendency of lawbreakers. When the pressure applied is not aggressive and prominent, the maximum chances are there that it would be the woman handwriting.
