Way of Bookmarking Buttons
The process of submitting your content manually to so many social bookmarking sites all at once can be very tiring and time consuming and hence a website came up with the idea of providing the bookmarking facility on your Blog itself. With the application called Add This, you can choose which particular social networking website or bookmarking website you would like to submit your content to and then the content is automatically bookmarked after you have given the necessary permission by logging in to the website. You can download an "Add This" button into your toolbar or a "Bookmark" button for your Blog. The "Add This" button can be easily downloaded from http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/407 site for free and installed in your toolbar to appear as a red box with a '+' sign inside it as can be seen circled.
The Add This button has a drop down menu with more than 170 sites where you can bookmark your content. You can choose the most common ones that you use regularly to figure in the list as shown in the figure above. This button helps you to bookmark any of your pages right from your toolbar directly into any of the other social bookmarking sites. For example If you have written an article or posted a photo or a video that you want to promote, you can click on this button and thereafter bookmark it on the concerned website. It also works the other way round, i.e. you may like something, say a video or an article on some other site and you want to link to it on your Blog, then you can do so by using this button.
Follow the step-by-step instructions given below to install the Bookmark button on Blogger. First be sure to copy the code.
Login to your Blogger to select the Blog in which you want to add the button and open the Layout Page. From the top menu select "Edit HTML".
