CALCUTTA BURGERS SNACKS FOR DIABETICS

CALCUTTA BURGERS SNACKS FOR DIABETICS

Ingredients (Serves 2)

1 green chilli

1 clove of garlic

2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum

1 tbsp thick tomato puree

3 tsp gramflour

A pinch each of powdered coriander, cumin, chilli, dry ginger, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp apple juice

Preparation

Mince the green chilli and garlic together. Mix all the ingredients together except the apple juice and half and gramflour, Add enough juice to give the mixture a firm consistency. Shape into burgers and dust with the remaining gram flour. Cook under a preheated grill for 15-20 minute's, turning occasionally until browned and done. You may brush with a little oil once.

 

Shape the burgers thinner than regular ones, so they cook better.
