Sweet Mango Pickle
4 cups mango pieces, peeled and boiled in water
5 cups sugar
1 tsp cardamom seeds
1 tsp saffron (powdered)
1. Mix boiled and drained mango pieces and sugar in a thick vessel and allow it to cook over medium heat. Stir it from time to time.
2. When the syrup is of one string consistency, remove from fire and add cardamom and saffron. Set aside to cool. Fill in the jar and store in a cool dry place.
