Saffron Flavoured Yogurt

INGREDIENTS

250 gm plain yogurt

3-4 tbsps sugar

A few strands saffron

1/2 tsp cardamom powder

To Garnish

Thinly-sliced almonds and pistachios

METHOD

1. Tie yogurt in a piece of muslin for an hour or till all the water is drained out. Place it in a bowl and add sugar. Mix well and put it through a sieve to get a smooth consistency.

2. Soak saffron threads in a little water and add this to the yogurt along with cardamom powder.

3. Mix well and transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with nuts and refrigerate until ready to serve.
