Fruit chaat

½ small papaya, cut into l-inch cubes

2 kiwi fruit, cut into 1-inch cubes

½ cup pomegranate kernels

½ cup orange segments

½ cup sweet lime segments

1 medium apple, cut into l-inch cubes

¼ cup seedless green grapes, halved

¼ cup seedless black grapes, halved

1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

1 ½ tablespoons chaat masala

Rock salt to taste

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Combine the papaya, kiwi fruit, pomegranate kernels, orange and sweet lime segments, apple and green and black grapes in a large bowl and place in a refrigerator to chill thoroughly.

 

Just before serving, sprinkle with chilli powder, chaat masala and rock salt. Add the lemon juice and toss gently to mix. Serve immediately.
